The rules that govern your use of the CommuniFit platform.

By accessing or using CommuniFit, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of CommuniFit after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
CommuniFit is a platform that connects people in local neighborhoods who want to exercise together. We provide tools for organizing and discovering free, public fitness events. CommuniFit does not organize, supervise, or control any events listed on the platform.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If we suspect your account has been compromised, we may suspend access until the issue is resolved.
CommuniFit is a platform, not an event organizer. Events are created and led by individual hosts who are community members, not employees or agents of CommuniFit. By attending any event, you acknowledge that physical activity carries inherent risks, including the risk of injury. You participate at your own risk and assume full responsibility for your own safety and well-being. CommuniFit does not verify the qualifications of hosts, the safety of locations, or the suitability of any activity for any individual.
You may not use CommuniFit to harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone. You may not post misleading or fraudulent event listings. You may not use the platform for commercial purposes, including charging fees for events or promoting paid services. You may not scrape, data-mine, or otherwise extract data from CommuniFit in bulk. You may not impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their event listings, including the description, location, time, and difficulty level. Hosts must ensure events take place in public, legally accessible spaces. Hosts are not employees, contractors, or agents of CommuniFit. Hosting is voluntary and unpaid. Hosts should communicate any changes or cancellations to attendees as promptly as possible.
The CommuniFit name, logo, and platform design are the property of CommuniFit. Content you create on the platform (event descriptions, profile information) remains yours, but you grant CommuniFit a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the platform. You may not copy, modify, or distribute CommuniFit's proprietary materials without permission.
CommuniFit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not endorse any host, event, or activity listed on the platform. Use of the platform and participation in events is at your sole risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CommuniFit and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or participation in any event. This includes, without limitation, damages for personal injury, property damage, or loss of data.
We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Your continued use of CommuniFit after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
