CommuniFit only works if everyone feels safe and welcome. These guidelines help us keep it that way.
Everyone is welcome — regardless of age, fitness level, body type, or background.
No experience is needed to join any event marked "All Levels" or "Beginner."
All events take place in public, accessible spaces. No private property.
CommuniFit is free to use. There are no fees, memberships, or paid tiers.
Be kind. Encourage others. Never mock someone's pace, form, or fitness level.
Show up on time. If you're running late, let the host know if possible.
Clean up after yourself. Leave the space better than you found it.
Respect the space. Follow park rules, stay on designated paths, and be mindful of other people using the area.
Be inclusive. Invite people in, don't gatekeep. If someone's new, welcome them.
Create welcoming events. Write clear descriptions so people know what to expect before they arrive.
Communicate changes early. If you need to cancel, update, or move an event, do it as soon as possible so guests aren't left waiting.
Be honest about difficulty. Label your event accurately — an advanced trail run isn't "All Levels."
Provide modifications when you can. Not everyone can do every movement. Suggest alternatives.
Have a plan for bad weather. Let guests know your policy — do you move indoors, cancel, or meet rain or shine?
RSVP honestly. If you're going, say so. If you're not sure, don't commit a spot someone else could use.
Show up if you RSVP. Hosts plan around headcount. No-shows affect the whole group.
Bring what's suggested. If the host says "bring a yoga mat and water," bring a yoga mat and water.
Follow the host's lead. They set the pace, route, and structure. Trust the plan.
Communicate your needs. If you have an injury, limitation, or concern, let the host know before the event starts.
Report issues directly from the event page. We review every report.
Block and mute features are coming soon for users who make you uncomfortable.
Contact support at hello@communifit.com for anything that needs immediate attention.
In an emergency, call 911 first. Then let us know what happened so we can help.
